Ekdalia Evergreen Club, 2011
Durga Puja Theme: The Ekdalia Evergreen Club Durga Puja Theme is to focus on the 60th year of Indo-German friendship. The leading sculpture artist is himself a German- Gregor Schneidor. Schneidor conceptualised the pandal as a street from his hometown Rheydt in Germany. The mandap is modelled on the artists famous work HAUS U R, a concept of rooms within rooms. Their pandal is huge and is a mixture of Indian and German culture. The Devi Durga Idol is awesome as usual.Theme Artist: Gregor Schneider.

Durga Puja Theme: This year Ahritola Puja Committee came up with a very innovative theme of ASURA RAJA DESH in which Maa Durga kills the Mahisasura in Asura kingdom defeating numerous Asurs. Generally the Asura gets unnoticed in most of the Durga Pujas in kolkata. So highlighting Asuras, they have tried to create a mixture of fear, devotion and happiness at their Puja pandal. The pandal is basking in the glorious light of Durga's presence in the world of asuras. This year Ahritola committee is celebrating their 72th year of Durga Puja.Theme Artist: Gauranga Kuila.

Durga Puja Theme: They came up with a very beautiful pandal this year. The theme is Birth of Power. The facial images are the FIVE ELEMENTS. At the very top u'll see that several figures are showing their devotion in a RAISE UP THE SLEEPING ONES manner. The main MAA DURGA image is appearing from the sky i.e. floating. Durga Puja Theme: The theme of Sreebhumi sporting club is DURGA IN AEROSPACE. The visitors are shown a celestrial journey with the outer exhibition area looking like a planet and the interiors showcasing stars and asteroids moving around the idol. Durga Puja Theme: The theme of Telanganabagan is KOLABAU, which is the manifestation of Durga herself. There are nine types of trees that represent the nine images of Durga. The pandal attemted at recreating those nine images of Durga. Bamboo sticks were used in such a way as if they were naturally grown. The 18th century Shibpuri woodcut painting was used for the Durga pratima. The color of the pandal eas inpired from the blue of twilight.Theme Artist: Krishnapriya Dasgupta.

Durga Puja Theme: Their theme is CHALTABAAGANER KAACHER DESHE, MAA ESECHEN SHOLO BHESE. They have displayed 16 Rups of Maa Durga. They have used Glass, plate, lanterns , medicine bottles etc to decorate their pandal. For colouring impact they have used celophin papers whose edges where hidden with broken glass bangles. Durga Puja Theme: The theme of 21 Pally Sarbojanin Durga Puja committee for 2011 is Purusakriti. The pandal is a red structure with a idol of Bramha. The murti or the Idol is ultra modern with yellow and blue as its primary colors, Modern Art at its best. They have create Brahmalok, Bishnulok and Shibalok. Here Durga Maa is an assimilation of powers of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh in three different colors. The whole pandal is decorated using Earthen pots and other earthen materials. To add with it had a very beatiful Durga idol. Durga Puja Theme: The theme of Chetla Agrani is COMMUNAL HARMONY. They have created a Mosque and a Mandir side by side at their pandal. They are promoting equality and highlighting the underlying unity binding the diverse cultures in India. The pandal is built inside a park that already had a Mosque in it. Durga Puja Theme: The theme of Hindustan Park is KAANCHER SWARGO i.e Glass Paradise. They have displayed a city of broken dreams and shaterred hopes. The entire pandal is divided into three to four zones. The first is decorated with lamps. second with glassworks. The third have open walls and the fourth have mirror works. A traditional Ma Durga idol will grace the innermost zone of the pandal.
